By recognizing and honoring selected works, Medis raises awareness and promotes the importance of research in the development of medical science in the CSEE region, valuably contributing to disease diagnosis and treatment.

Fields: Gastroenterology, Gynecology, Intensive Care Medicine and Anesthesiology, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, Pharmacy, Pulmonology and Allergology, Rheumatology

I perceive the International Medis Awards for Medical Research as part of a bigger story, as they promote and reward the desire for development, innovation and research, all with the purpose of treating diseases and improving people's lives. These awards also represent an important recognition for doctors and pharmacists, ensuring that their invaluable work receives the attention it deserves. Prof. Borut Štrukelj, MSc Pharm, PhD President of the International Scientific Committee
