October is International Breast Cancer Awareness Month. As breast cancer is curable if detected early enough, raising awareness of early detection and immediate effective treatment are keys for reducing mortality.
One of the survivors is Jana Koteska, model and interior designer, who gave birth to her son Vran on the 10th anniversary of her recovery. With the baby, her life turned upside down again, this time for the better. She shared her story with us:
Cancer does not choose. I lost both breasts due to breast cancer surgery. But even mothers with difficult life experiences can enable their children healthy growth and development with infant formulas.
At Medis, we have been collaborating with EUROPA DONNA - The European Breast Cancer Coalition for a year now, and we continue supporting the babies of breast cancer survivors with Novalac milk formulas. We want every mom to know that every motherhood is wonderful and that the bond with the child is the most beautiful thing in the world, even if you are not breastfeeding.
