#MedSafetyWeek – Raising Awareness of Adverse Reaction Recognition and Reporting

Every year in the first week of November, the Uppsala Monitoring Centre coordinates the global #MedSafetyWeek campaign, involving a number of countries around the world, to raise awareness and promote the recognition and reporting of suspected adverse effects following the use of medicines.

Medis is committed to providing the most advanced and effective medical treatments to every patient in the CEE region and this is supported in part by our pharmacovigilance system, which is held to a high standard within our company. Throughout the year, we educate and support our employees to provide available safety information from the field, and we work with our trusted partners to ensure that the medicines brought to market are effective, safe and quality controlled.

During the week of 1–7 November 2021, we are joining the global campaign Medis-style by inviting our colleagues to take part in a MediSafetyWeek quiz, doing our small part in raising awareness and ensuring the safety of our patients.
