International Medis Awards for Medical Research
In line with its corporate social responsibility strategy, Medis is sponsoring the International Medis Awards for Medical Research (IMA) already for the tenth consecutive year. The IMA is an international prize awarded by the independent International Scientific Committee for outstanding research achievements in nine countries in Central and South-Eastern Europe across nine medical fields.
By recognizing and honoring selected works, Medis raises awareness and promotes the importance of research in the development of medical science in the CSEE region, valuably contributing to disease diagnosis and treatment.
Countries: Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia
Fields: Gastroenterology, Gynecology, Intensive Care Medicine and Anesthesiology, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, Pharmacy, Pulmonology and Allergology, Rheumatology
I perceive the International Medis Awards for Medical Research as part of a bigger story, as they promote and reward the desire for development, innovation and research, all with the purpose of treating diseases and improving people's lives. These awards also represent an important recognition for doctors and pharmacists, ensuring that their invaluable work receives the attention it deserves.
